Burning Crusade Classic: Dreadsteed quest questions:

Hello,

This is a question for Warlocks attempting to get their Dreadsteeds in TBC Classic. I’m a level 60 Warlock who has the quest: “Dreadsteed of Xoroth” in his quest log.

I have not purchased or have the 3 summoning regeants required for summoning the Dreadsteed: the jar, glyphs and lodestone. However, I know a Warlock who can help me that has all 3 of those regeants. I don’t want to spend 250G if he can use his regeants instead.

  1. Who needs to have and use the approximately 15-20 soul shards during the ritual? Is it myself or the other Warlock?

  2. Does it have to be me, since I’m the one who has the quest to click and repair the nodes when they go down or can he do that as well, since he provided the summoning regeants to enact the ritual?

  3. What is the better spell to use on the Dreadguards, Enslave Demon or Banish?

Thanks for answering my question…

if you have another warlock with the ritual items you both can empower the items with soulshards. In tbc, its better to do this at level 70 because you wont need a full group then. You can 2man it with another warlock. I would personally use demonic sacrifice and just banish. With 2 warlocks you can banish the larger demons and hellfire nuke the smaller adds. Easy peasy.

Don’t do it. You’ll be gutted when they allow the dreadstead to be instantly accessed by players that achieve a certain level - a fun quest though they just don’t make 'em like this anymore in the current game.

It wont be before WOTLK classic though and it’s one of the most fun quest to do. It wont be as fun in BC but in classic this was a epic quest line to do and well worth the experience.
