You can go get more keys, they drop from rares and you can farm enough to open all the doors.
Also the ring quest puts a marker on your minimap map that shows which doors to open to get the jewelers kit and anvil, you don’t need a YouTube video.
I played late and still got enough keys to unlock all but 4 doors they drop alot especially from events and rares. I can understand wanting to be efficient but its not that big a set back.
So farm more keys… i don’t see the problem here. you also can slow down and not rush through content being impatient for zero reasons. We just got the patch yesterday and it will be around for another 2-3months worth of time before moving on.
It is absolutely acceptable for trial and error to a part of your gaming experience if you don’t want to use third party websites to draw a map for your thoughts.
This! and to add to it, it’s FUN to figure things out without knowing the optimal path sometimes. I’ve had a blast exploring the different rooms in the vault and solving hte puzzles.
Have I been 100% optimal? probably not. have I had more fun than I would have if I just followed a walk through? yep.
I’m still literally laughing at “I unsubbed” over a non-optimal vault approach.
I dont understand the complaint. How did you “burn 6 keys” and what does that have to do with the ring? It’s lying on the ground in the main lobby of the vault.
I think op was doing that hyperbole bit where they say something they obviously aren’t gonna do to illustrate frustration at an event not occuring the way they want to occur. Such as say, your cars battery dying and you say “just kill me now!” in frustration.
I haven’t even gotten that far yet. I was doing the quests in the zone and then my guild asked if I wanted to join them for the weekly mythic dungeon quest. It’s a small guild but everyone was on at the same time, we had two groups going. Was fun.
I still can’t get over all the elemental overflow being flung at me. I didn’t bother too much with those primalist invasions because I thought they were bland and I outgeared the rewards, but I am glad I am able to easily collect those sets.
Maybe it IS the straw that broke the camel’s back for the OP, but I also think it’s kind of a disproportionate response to such a low-stakes “non” issue.
Edit: I also think that the “dependence on 3rd party sites to play the game thing” is more telling of the OP than anything else, to be honest. I know we all use them, but how many of us heavily RELY or DEPEND on them?
