I never found a Burdened Soul while SL was current. I finally decided to circle-back to this one and … I can’t remember how it works.
Do I have to be Venthyr for the “special” treasure chests to appear on the map? Or is it just not up today?
Nothing is on my map atm and I can’t rem if that’s a function of HandyNotes/ some addon or if it’s because I’m NF atm and not Venthyr.
Did I mention how much I hate low drop-rate items like this?? >(

The Burdened Soul only drops from one particular Secret Treasure. It was last up on the 1st. It’ll only have a CHANCE to be up if Rare Resources (I think) or A Call to Revendreth is up.
So your stacked RNG is: Correct Calling > RNG for the Treasure itself to be up > RNG for the pet drop - 8 %
ETA: I post the Daily Pet Report which will let you know if the treasure is up
That didn’t answer the question of “Do I need to be Venthyr?”
But thank you for “the Pet Report”, what exactly is that/ where can I find it so I know the next time it’s up?

During SL, we all used to send all our alts when the treasure was up. The alts did not have to be Venthyr, and in fact I got mine on my Night Fae character.
Yeah I can rem sending alts… I just couldn’t rem if I switched them all to Venthyr before doing it.
Feels like SL was 5 years ago. lol
