Races like in that video tend to attract a certain type of person I think the game, and frankly the world would be better without.
I understand what you mean. But on the other hand there are millions of fans out there that love Anime. And it’s not just anthropomorphic bunnies. That’s just a tiny part. Anime
embraces traditional mythology just like Wow does. With a cornucopia of mythological
creatures of all types. Including the Skaven which are Rat Folk.
Outside of the allied races for BfA which were a rapid-fire release of 10 different new races - Blizzard has never done a single race’s model based on another. Uniqueness of each race and model is something that speaks to the quality of the craft and of the game, and I doubt Blizzard would want to shortcut something that obvious without good reason (such as needing an order of 10 in a single expac).
If we get another cutesy playable race before playable arakkoa or seth’rak, I’m going to scream.
