Wasting GM’s time…

A GM will tell you to use the forum ignore and flag post features.

They wouldn’t care anyway and take it as yet another personal attack.

When you post in a public forum - you cannot dictate who can and cannot participate in your conversation. So long as a player has active game time, their account is in good standing, and they’re following the forums CoC? You have no say who can post to you or the thread you posted.

You open the door to people talking to you as soon as you decide to post a thread of your own or in another person’s thread. The forums are a privilege, but they’re not necessary for someone to play the game. It is also not something you’re paying for. It is a perk of having active game time - nothing more.

Also - if you actually are submitting any? Tickets won’t do anything. GMs are for in-game issues. Not forum issues.

I know what I’m typing is likely to be ignored, but at least the information is here for anyone who may trip over this train wreck in the future. (Providing this thing isn’t nuked into the stratosphere once the staff get around to it.)

You aren’t. You could also use the ignore feature that is recommend so that you don’t have to see what those individuals post.

Spamming is indeed against the rules.

Spamming would be reposting the same thread two or three times in the same subforum, or in ten different sub forums, for example.

Increasing a thread’s post count is not spamming. Unless the same person is posting the exact same text every time.

If you want people to respond earnestly and kindly with you, you often only need to do the same for them.

Instigation makes it harder for third parties to determine where actual fault lies, as well.
