At this point in the game, faction changing to Alliance should be free.

Happy Thanksgiving. Thankful that Blizzard has announced a mass character transfer. Hopeful for an announcement on more details soon. Maybe in time for the December holidays?

I wonder how much it would cost to faction change + realm change 12 toons.

I think it shouldn’t matter how many you are transferring above a certain threshold.

Whether its 4 or 12 as long as the source and destination is the same.

It shouldn’t even come at a cost tbh. There should be a free transfer just like Classic TBC got. Why should the players have to pay to be on a good server? Its not our fault our servers died out.

Yep, I would look forward to that finding a server that is majority ‘Alliance’. Right now the Horde/Alliance percentages are frustrating on my realm. Being PVE, and harassed regardless sucks.
Just hope I can afford it … a light in the tunnel.

Because they know you will pay for it. You want to switch servers? You want to be part of the Horde and have a premium game quality? Then pay up or start a new character. I don’t see them giving free faction changes, ever. They know the camel’s back is broken and they still try to profit from it.

I haven’t paid for a transfer since MoP. I learned a long time ago that its not worth it, and I don’t want to give Blizzard more money for not keeping the servers at a healthy population.

I wouldnt expect them to, but a one time transfer to another server when a faction on a server hits a certain threshold…notice how I said faction, and not server, because a lot of times one faction is dead while the other is thriving.

They’ve been doing this all along, I really dont think its that. They should’ve been maintaining the servers all along.

Hello please make unlimited free character transfers and unlimited free race/faction changes come with the 6 month sub. This is an automated thing so it should not cost money anyways. I believe this would make you more money as well because people would purchase the 6 month sub for this.

That’s actually not much if you want to try all iconic race/class combos. You can’t have more than two characters of the same race (male/female) and the game does not incentivize to try more races out because it has no meaningful progression system attached to it through the achievements.
