It’s clear that Blizzard doesn’t want permanent Era servers that will peter out and die as people crowd up at the ICC endgame (like Wrath did).
Wrath servers are a wasteland right now, so all those people claiming “They’re the best”, are clearly not playing on them. The only people playing are those of us who are prepping characters for Cataclysm.
However…MoP Remix will be a smash hit. Calling it now.
And so given that they know the most popular expansions, they should make TBC Remix, where you have 1 year to play through all the TBC stuff only, no Vanilla, and gain cool achievements or visuals etc.
Then make Wrath Remix, where you have 1 year to play through all the Wrath stuff and gain extra things.
Then release MoP Remix again for 1 year.
Then Legion Remix for 1 year.
Then back to TBC.
And at the same time, make 1 year rolling Fresh Era servers for the Vanilla people who want it “as it was”.
