Bugged Quest: Unintended Consequences: Ready for turn in …except… the NPC is still in combat and will not interact except to attack.
CANNOT TURN IN QUEST FOR NEXT STEP.
Waited for my dots to kill the npc and when she died, the quest marker ? was still there but the npc never reappeared. Still cannot turn this quest in.
Bliz…fix your bugged quests…and this is a new one leading into the Ashara launch.
Same problem. 1 hp on mob perpetually.
was going to start a new thread for another bug asociated with this quest but I will just put it here.
There is supposed to be a voice script from the lady in the dagger that triggers, I assume when you aproach this area and see the NPC channeling void stuff into the crystal. I know this becuase it triggered on one of my characters, but not on my s-priest. She coments about if we had more time she would love to see the NPC fail, or something along those lines. I don’t know if it failed to activate becuase my character is a priest (several other things about the questline are slightly modified.) But i think it is just a general bug and the triggering event is’nt occuring correctly.
just for the record i did not kill her right away on the shadow priest, i actualy ran around for a bit and tried to see if i could get it to trigger before i killed the NPC, but nothing really seemed to work.
yup, this is some bs. Pivotal quest in the storyline? Nahhh, no need to do a thurough QA, i’m sure it’s flawless out the gate. no need to test boys, we’re motha f’in BLIZZARD!
I just had the same bug. I ran away in an attempt to reset the quest. When I came back I was able to turn it in.
On my server (Bladefist) Inanis is at 90% and you can’t do anything.

Bugged on Garrosh. NPC is evading at 90%.
Well until blizz addresses this, I went back to Org and turned on warmode, and when I came back to the ritual site, I was able to properly engage her, kill her, and move on with the quest. I know I know…WM isn’t for everyone, but you won’t be out in the world long =) Hope this helps ppl for now.
Different phase, makes sense.
To solve this, I just applied for a random group created by a player in a realm different than mine. When my phase changed, I was able to continue the quest.

I’ve just had the same problem but I figured out how to make it work. You’ll have to kill her twice, at least it was that way for me. the trick is you have to make sure she’s dead, fully dead, before using the void stone.
The issue with this quest is, you kill her and then she comes back to life as the void stone spawns, and you loot the void stone. But she has to be killed again before you use the special action. Atleast thats how I got it to work
