I cannot finish the achievement “Hearthstone Card Collection” because I already attained every item and card from the boss drops.
I had every card except “Charged Devilsaur” BUT in my bag was an item that was black with a red ? question mark. When I would mouse of the item it said it was “Charged Devilsaur” but i was unable to learn it or click it.
So i decided to delete it and kill the bosses again and again and again. And now after 8-12 additional kills from the Dr. Doom he has dropped nothing except the basic Hearthstone Wildcards.
Looks like I will never have this achievement due to bug??
I’m also missing a card that I can’t obtain. I opened a ticket. They autoreplied with a bunch of useless links. I replied that I still need help. Average wait time on tickets is 7 days 8 hours! I have tried everything to get that last card, but I’m about to give up. Blizzard, please fix this.

still not fixed. still missing that 1 card. had it but it was unclickable. bugged icon. need fix. what is happening around these parts?
My understanding of how this achievement worked is that once the game considered the card to have dropped for you, you were not able to get that card to drop a second time on your account. This doesn’t mean that you learned the card or had it tracked against the achievement, just that it dropped for you. If you destroyed the card before opening it, you still wouldn’t get the card to drop a second time. It sounds like this is what you’re experiencing.
I have not tested it, but from a hotfix during the event, the Hearthstone Game Table should now drop missing cards for the Card Collection achievement. Good luck!
yea it is 100% still bugged. this happened the 1st day. they did not fix the actual issue. i killed the boss on many many toons hundreds of times. i played the hearthstone table 50-80-100+ times. and did not give any cards at all. all after the supposed “fix”.
the card i acquired in my bag that day was the charged devilsaur. i could not tell by a mouse over or the icon of the item, but when i went to delete it, it asked “are you sure you want to delete charged devilsaur”. so i did, as the card was useless. it could not be learned or clicked on.
this bug has been there from day 1. and it is still not fixed. the hotfix they implemented did nothing to change the fact that you can still get cards after you have already acquired them, no matter if you traded them to someone else, or in my case had an actual bugged item go in your bag such as the black icon with red question mark.
