i got this bug that was descibed on wow head
We are supposed to loot the Familiar-Looking Appendage quest starter for “That’s Pretty Gross,” which is required to proceed to the third and fourth quests.
For whatever reason this item has a different name on the PTR Emerald Necklace and won’t start this quest so we get stuck.
deleted the emerald necklace dont know how to submit a ticket to blizzard
I got a response from a GM and they are aware of the issue. Sadly, it is the last quest line for me the complete all main quests for the expansion so just waiting for this to get resolved -_-
I know how to fix this quest. The bug is because you get the necklace from a mob and that in lies the issue. You are supposed to get the item from the appendage. That is why when you click the item for the quest it says you dont meet requirements. And if you got the item from a mob the appendage cannot give you an item you already have. The solution is to delete the item and wait a little while for the appendage which will be under water to show up with a quest marker then you can go to it get the necklace properly and do the quest. You might have to wait a while so i suggest give it a day and come back.
