Bugged Mail: >>Two mails from Thaumaturge Vashreen<< neither would open when I first tried in Stormwind, but I could see that there were two items that looked like they came from Mechagon, which I was unable to collect.
So I ported to Boralus and was finally able to open the mail. However, when I opened the mail again, both only had a notice, but were missing the attachments.
“We discovered this curious item in one of our vaults and it apparently belongs to you.” >>> missing attachments
I’ve three pieces of mail from Thaumaturge Vashreen with the same letter. Each letter had a single attachment (all items from Mechagon); when I right-clicked on them, I got the message that the “item was not found.”
And, yet, after I got each error message, the item disappeared from the mail–and none of them made it into my inventory; so I got cheated out of I-don’t-know-what items, exactly.
This ties into mine issue - except in my case they were items I already had in my inventory that went missing (hardened springs and plating for the Mechagon quest).
I had the same thing as Grumbles happen. I had two emails from Thaumaturge Vashreen with items attached - Hardened Spring and Plating. I also got the same message that the item was not found. And, as with Grumbles, I had already had more than ten of each item in my inventory and those are now missing as well.
Apparently this, like much else still isnt fixed. Across 3 or 4 characters in the last 2 days, Ive had multiple mail from Vashreen, each containing one item such as cloth or vibrant shards. Click them, and get item not found error. Close mailbox and reopen it, and the attatchment picture disappears and shows the basic looted mail letter icon. However, said items never go into my inventory. They just disappear.
Getting the same thing. The only thing that went into my bags was Wildercloth. The other thing was a Vibrant Shard and it disappeared entirely. Clicking on the “Open All” button and waiting for 10 seconds removed the items from the mailbox (receiving the cloth and deleting the shard) and left the letters.
Edit: It was the Vibrant Shard, not the crest, as I got the same thing on a different character right after posting this.
