Blizzard, you addressed this bug nearly a week ago but you have left those that are effected by it completely in the dark. We were told 4 days ago that you are ‘working’ on a fix for us, yet as of Tuesday’s reset our bugged Digsites still remain in Cataclysm zones.
Yes, however I’m sure it’s not as simple as you’re making it out to be, it’s not like they just tweak a couple lines of code and the problem is instantaneously fixed.
If they do roll out a fix they also have to make sure whatever the fix is doesn’t break additional things.
Also, the amount of people that are affected by this unfortunate bug is an extremely small set of players, so the amount of time and effort it would take to create a solution for those players is probably not worth it in the grand scheme of things when there are still class abilities and talents that are also bugged.
As unfortunate as it may be I don’t blame them if they never roll out a fix when the issue will quite literally solve itself in less than two weeks time.
I feel like all they need to do is identify any player that received the 450 Arch achievement before the hotfix and then force reset all of their digsites. I’d be shocked if that isn’t possible.
As you said the number of players is small so it shouldn’t be very difficult to identify them.
(assuming this is about the Cata zones digsite bug)
this was fixed, people are speculating there is a new bug related to digsite spawns, they claim that dwarf has a reduced spawnrate after completing the innkeeper’s daughter but its hard to verify
