Bugged? Deadliest Catch: Reel Big Fish

Am I doing something wrong? I can’t kill the land sharks in this quest. I have watched a couple of YouTube videos and they seem to kill the land shark with just a few strikes. But when I attack my health takes a huge 50% or so hit and I then die shortly afterward. Meanwhile, I have gotten the land shark down in HP by about 1/3. I’m spam hitting both keys 1 and 2 at the same time. Nothing works. Help?

Edit: In the videos I watched, the land shark takes 2000+ points in damage with each hit. The best I can do is between 800 and 900.

I was stuck on the same quest too. Yeah it’s bugged. There is another bug, though, that can be used to get around it in the meantime. When you jump on Coxswain Hook, IMMEDIATELY exit out of her. What’ll happen is that you’ll be on your character and the mobs would still be there. You might have to try a couple of times for it to work, but it worked for me

Yeah, not working for me.
After leaving Hook, sharks do stay, for awhile. Can get about two hits on them and then they fade away.
