Has anyone else been directly behind the boss and still getting hit with cleave…our group had all the melee die because of this but im not hearing anyone talk about it.
Someone is standing too close behind the boss it sounds like, gotta be as far back as possible.
is that how cleave should work though? i thought it was based on being in the front or sides…and how close is too close? From what i remember none of us were very close but still getting smashed
It chains, so if 1 person is too close all of you are going to get cleaved. I mean it could also be a bug, not like there isn’t a bunch already in BWL.
since when does cleave chain o.0
Since razorgore
Razergores cleave has always been chained.
Melee get cleaved because they have crawled too far up his bottom.
Have them back up so the don’t get clipped.
This happens on the longer models because the hit box is odd
Cleave in classic has always used the targets hit box to calculate the 2nd target. This can lead to some blizzard cleaves (in particular with tauren due to their increased melee leeway). I think tgis is likely what you are experiencing but can’t be sure.
pay ATTENTION to where he stands especially if he is a big dumb cow
the dogs in MC are an obvious example of something where ur clearly not passing their center but will still cleave u if too close up in their bum
Just a thing with mobs who have a big hit box. Ever stand too close to a Core hounds as* in MC??
Vael also chain cleaves - its deadly.
There is a disturbing trend of people who don’t know or don’t understand mechanics and default to the position that it must be bugged instead of trying to figure out the mechanic.
