Bugged Blood from festergut loot unable to loot Wrath

After defeating festergut I was unable to loot the blood from the boss. The master looter was not able to see any item to loot, and I was able to see the item but was unable to loot it. I was on the quest and had farmed all of the saronite to obtain it that night. After fester we defeated rotface but had switched it to group loot and I was able to obtain the other blood.

The following day it seems this was (maybe?) hotfixed since I was told by others on friday they were able to masterloot the item to the person who had the quest.

This happened on my warrior Chijyoou on the realm Grobbulus.

Hoping this can be fixed since it really sucks to lose our 1st shadows edge due to an old known bug.

I have a screenshot of the loot as well if need be.

My guild had the same issue but with Rotface. No loot, no quest item, no emblems, but the boss died and faded away after a while in the same way a mob disappeared if had been fully looted.

The only clue we had to what could have caused it was a player rezed as a ghoul may have gotten the killing blow but a single raid member was still alive when the boss died.

I believe several people put in tickets but all they got was just canned auto-responses telling them to relog, which we all know isn’t going to fix the issue.

It sucks for our Guild having to start behind on Shadowmourne week 1 from a bug that could have easily been fixed if In-person GMs still existed like the good old days.
