Tried applying a Worm Supreme (+10 to fishing) to my Mastercraft Kalu’ak Fishing Pole, and it says, “That item is not a valid target.” I can use my Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat (+7 to fishing) to apply a lure to the fishing pole without a problem, and others have reported that the Shiny Bauble (+3 to fishing) works just fine too.
