Here’s a bit of an interesting clash of new/old worlds sort of bug I found during tonight’s stress test…
Vanilla Stormwind makes use of fake duplicate cathedral props to make the cathedral look bigger than it actually is. This is fine, but back then we didn’t have advanced shadows, and now that we do the two interact oddly.
Basically, in the Trade District one of the fake cathedrals which is supposed to be invisible from that vantage point casts a massive shadow despite being invisible. Here’s a clip showing the issue:
