Dark Ranger Shadow Hounds for BM hunter is not showing any damage events and is unable to be captured in logs. Please investigate this and fix.

Same. My own damage meter sees it. Nobody else’s does. I’ve reached out to details support, they confirmed that the ability event does not get broadcasted to others. This ability also does not show up in warcraft logs when that logs fights. The damage BM hunter does is being misrepresented in a significant quantifiable degree… I have a screenshot comparison of my logging vs someone else’s.
This is honestly very unacceptable and unfair and places our spec as a whole in a bad place. 10M for a single boss in the last dungeon I did. 56.65M for the entire dungeon. A 56M discrepancy on parse.

Just compared log for second boss in nerubar. I logged I did 309M damage, the other person logged me at 281M damage. 28M discrepancy. I was first DPS, but I am being shown as 3rd DPS. This bug needs to be at the top.
Same here! I’m often 50k or more lower on the meters in keys than my fellow guildies report on theirs. It really sucks. Please fix this, Blizz.
As of the BM rework/update today, this is still not fixed 
This bug is still not fixed, Dark Hound for others is not showing up in meters. Causing everyone to think BM is terrible dps and causing tons of social issues among players.
yup why fix a bug that misrepresents our dps by 5-10%, lets nerf BM ST by 10% and buff ret paladin by 500% overall, I’ve quit bm because of this and im well on my way to quitting the game after the uncalled for paladin buffs congrats blizzard ret and enhance are broken and the #1 specs AGAIN good to know what specs u guys play. Imagine playing a hybrid and being the top dps and healer in the game, but a dps pure is the worst in the game, rediculous. I love getting smoked by someone 20-30ilvl below me rocking blues while theyre rolling their face on the keyboard, fix ur game.
I have confirmed that for last night’s raid at least, Shadow Hounds appeared in the Warcraft Logs report, so looks like it has been “fixed”.
Unfortunately, this won’t fix the poor reputation that BM Hunters have gotten because of this (and the other “nerfs” we have gotten in the past
It’s always appeared in actual logs because its an advanced combat log event. What they are saying is that it doesn’t show up in the regular combat log so addons don’t have access to it. It wouldn’t be the first thing that either doesn’t show up in the regular combat log or lacks damage attribution that the advanced combat log has, so I doubt its an actual bug. What a damage meter shows or doesn’t show isn’t really important in that regard.
