Bug report, race change, rep lost

Not sure how this works, but I was asked to list this issue in the bug report forums by a GM. So, I guess I just copy/paste the conversation and the bug in question which is mentioned.

I am a bit disappointed that this issue happened again after having lost rep like two weeks ago. A GM was able to restore that rep for me, but apparently this time around that isn’t something that can be as simply done.

I know the urgency of your request and that this situation is frustrating. I investigated your case further and had done my best searching, I found that this situation was caused by a bug. But worry not! Since this issue had been reported, our developers became aware of it and are currently working on a fix to be implemented as soon as possible.

In the meanwhile I’d advise (and this is really important) to submit a bug report on our forums of this instance, so our developers can continue to investigate all the affected accounts. You can submit a bug report by either going into the in-game ESC menu and click on report or simply by visiting our forums at: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/000015043

Please keep in mind that bug reports are essential, as us Game Masters are unable to alter in- game mechanics. However, submitting a bug report provides direct contact with our developer team, which means it is the most effective way for players to bring attention to bugs, updates, and issues in the game. Additionally, please note that we cannot give you an exact date as to when this will be fixed. Given the vastness of the game and the wide range of interactions between players, it’s difficult to predict when a fix will be deployed. However, any updates regarding this issue will be communicated via blue posts on the Forum Thread.

With all this said we hope you can upload a bug report on this issue and I wish to convey my sincerest hopes for your continued enjoyment in the game. Your support for Blizzard and cooperation with our guidelines is greatly valued.

Your post was a little lacking on details for a bug report.

What character-realm? What race where you going to and from? What reps do you think you’re missing?

Yeah, that is true, it is lacking on the details thanks for pointing that out. well, my Character name which is stated in the GM reply is (Mograine) Realm would be Ravenholdt-U.S. As per any other information pertaining to this issue, it’s all pretty well spelled out in the body of the post sent to me by the GM who responded.

Two weeks ago I think or maybe a week ago I had my city rep with the Exodar and Stormwind reset after purchasing a race and server transfer, from exalted back down to friendly. So, after having contacted support twice regarding this issue, a GM was able to restore the two rep in question.

However, this go around apparently a GM is unable to restore the Exodar rep which I assume is because it’s a bug causing this issue and even if a GM restores the lost rep it will just reset again? Who knows.

At any rate, the copy/pasted information I posted clearly states this is an issue, it is known and all of my information pertaining to this issue, has been covered with Support. Just reposting this conversation.
