Quest Name: The Day That Deathwing Came: The Real Story

Hello,
I encountered a bug while playing the quest “The Day That Deathwing Came: The Real Story” in the Badlands zone. During the quest, there is a moment where you are supposed to make a selection to progress through the story, but the option doesn’t appear or doesn’t respond when clicked. Because of this, I’m unable to complete the quest.
I’ve tried reloading the UI, abandoning and retaking the quest, and even relogging, but the issue persists.

I wanted to provide more context regarding the issue I’m experiencing with the quest “The Day That Deathwing Came: The Real Story” in Badlands.
The quest is given by Lucien Tosselwrench, and during it, the player controls Lucien as he tells a wild story about fighting Deathwing. At one point, Lucien grows extremely tall to reach the clouds in search of Deathwing. When he doesn’t find him, he claims Deathwing is hiding in the sun, and a large sun object appears above.
The problem is that, at this point, you’re supposed to select or interact with the sun to defeat Deathwing and complete the quest. However, I’m unable to do so. When I try to select the sun, I receive the error “You are too far away,” even though my character is positioned directly below it.
This prevents the quest from being completed.
Possible workaround: don’t be big for the last part (after searching 5 clouds).

just dont get super big and it will let you grab it
Don’t spam the “shrink world” power more than needed to search the clouds; apparently that’s apparently the correct size to search the sun as well.
So you have to be shorter to reach the sun.

The key was to only use the “Shrink World” ability once, just enough to reach the clouds (level 1). If you keep growing beyond that, you’ll be too tall and won’t be able to click the sun at the end (it says you’re too far away even if you’re right underneath).

It’s still a legit bug report, but I’m glad there was a good way to get around it.
