[Bug Report] PSA Hunters, Paladins, and Druids need a nerf ASAP. Broken classes!

Wind Serpents/ wyverns are wayyyyyy too strong. They are soloing dungeons 5 levels above cap with ease and nearly one shotting fully geared players with focus to spare… they are double dipping with the boom buff getting both magic crit and spell damage on top of their attack power scaling lighting breath, this is clearly a bug/ oversight.

Pallys already have a full kit at 25 with mail armor, heals, lay on hands, freedom, base movement speed, turning themselves into a moving tremor totem, have str of earth and grace of air combined with 1200 HP instead of 1, AoE Burst DPS that heals them and level 70 Crusader Strike, two immunities, a stun and a kick all at or before level 25. Please make lay on hand apply forbearance. There’s no reason a team of pallys should be able to rotate lay on hands on their EFC. Nerf divine storm I shouldn’t get crit for 400 by an AoE rune that tops them off in the same global. And since I doubt you’ll remove runes, at least balance their kit at 40 by giving them filler/ garbage runes like everyone else for that level range instead of adding more power to their kit. While you’re at it remove their equip qualification from crowded pummeler and make it exclusive to druids as our good God intended.

Druids. Starsurge is critting for 400-500 for the cost of 4 mana on a 6 second CD. If you nerfed it’s damage by 50% it would still be OP. Increase the CD, increase the mana cost, and reduce it’s damage. Thanks.

What we should expect are better heal cuts in phase 2 though, given the current power of healing. Level 40 is when Warriors will be getting Mortal Strike, and to mirror the new ceiling, I feel it’s reasonable to expect a Mortaler Strike. Mortalmore Strike?

How weird. I have virtually full BiS BFD gear and haven’t seen any 500 SS crits, even with wbuff. :thinking:

Counterpoint, devils advocate… Druids don’t have double damage spell crit yet. OP could have seen a hit for 200-250 and wrongly assumed a crit would do double.

Do those numbers come closer to what you see as a hit? (Still not a very large hit.)

Paladins can’t have all this at once, they need to choose between Horn/Storm and David Bowie Pants/rebuke.

Counter-counterpoint: they were complaining about what allegedly “is”, not what will be.

We’ll see how scaling shakes out, but I think SS will probably warrant changes at 40 cap with how it interacts with talents (e.g. it definitely shouldn’t stun lol). But for now at 25 I think it’s largely OK.

The overarching issue is that stamina values are frankly too low for how high our damage is with runes + BFD gear. People just explode on impact in WPvP.

I think we can all agree the OP is sorely misguided in virtually every analysis, except hunter pets, which have been steadily getting more manageable too.

(Which I will say, I get a little disappointed with how Hunter has been handled overall in Discovery, as it’s steadily creating the Retail phenomenon of “one viable build”–and taking any other pet is now a huge mistake and impact on performance. Instead of fixing the bugs, everything is squashed to balance the top… Can we expect a Lone Wolf buff to compensate?)

Forums has this really weird passive denial of clearly OP things where they just obfuscate and insult the valid input.

I agree with OP.

Pets are a little exaggerated, though definitely still broken and out of tune with the game.

Pallys has become classic’s DH; they just AoE, deal more damage than other people’s single target, and then also heal for abunch of that damage. Not a good look.

Starsurge needed half cooldown, or +125% damage - it certainly didn’t need half cooldow and +182% damage. Would be cool if they kept it how it is, but gave it a large mana cost that reduced over time, so that every ~30 seconds it had nearly no cost, but if you used it on cooldown every 6 seconds it would actually affect you mana, not just be back-to-back no cost.

If you’re getting two-shotted by a hunter you are a bad.

The only nerf starsurge needs for druids is its range.

42y range with talents is just wrong.

Either nerf its base range to 30, or make the talent not effect it. That is the only nerf it needs.

What game are you playing? In my WSG matches my pet does nothing - its polymorphed, feared, rooted, hibernated, and scare beasted permanently. And I’m stuck doing absolutely nothing except 40 damage auto shots on paladins lol.
