You are given a Hollow Ring when you get the quest. The quest says to enchant it or use your own ring. I have enchanted the Hollow Ring and also all of the quest reward rings I have gotten in WW and I have used WW enchants but the quest will not update.
Quest giver gives you the enchant on a scroll you just have to use it on your ring and boom done and yeah don’t feel bad I’m sure we aren’t the only ones that didn’t look in our bags either.

Question…I have the hollow ring but she didn’t give me any enchanting scrolls >_>; I’ve tried buying some off the AH and enchanting several rings (the quest even says enchant any eligible ring) but the quest never completes. I’ve even abandoned and re-taken the quest several times to see if she’d give me the scroll she apparently requires you to use.
I was able to get this to work after much frustration and wasted dust…
I had miss placed the original scroll she had given, but still had the ring. Just enchanting that ring on my own wasn’t cutting it.
Once I deleted the ring (so both the scroll and the ring were no longer in my possession), I was able to drop the quest and accept it again and she gave me a new scroll and ring.
It seems that using the scroll she gives you is really the only way to force the quest to complete at the moment. I hope this is helpful!

I just tried doing this quest, she only gives out the ring, she doesn’t hand out the enchant at all. I tried abandoning the quest and deleting the ring, but got the same result.
