Bug: Loot tables for Battle of Azeroth

Steps to reproduce:

-Database search
-Querry: any Restoration Druid chest piece dropped in BFA dungeons.
-On match, If: Medallion of alliance.

-Team of 4.
-Log a dungeon with a resto druid chest in the loot table.
-Set a limited number of runs.
-/kill the boss, in god mode.
-Cound the drops, if any. My guess is there’s none.
-…
-Try again with “medallion of the alliance” equipped. (See below)

I have ran many dungeons. I level my characters strictly with dungeons while gathering for crafting. The chest, the shoulder and the head slots never drop. I looked up the chest piece today, i wanted to focus the dungeons with my chest pieces.

Those items have a bonus mechanic involving the “medallion of the alliance”. It’s an orange item obtained thorugh a quest. The quest starts in Kul’Tiras, near the Crafting stations, look for a dwarf.

Problem with the bug. Nobody looks at the loot tables. And even less know about this bug. I ran, a lot, of dungeons on my other character: Todla. I had to update head, chest and shoulder. I was still wearing lvl 15 gear i made for myself at level 35.

I have yet to test the medallion, but honestly, even if it works…

So, in order to prove i’m right, i have to fail proving the contrary. Therefore, there are a fair number of resto druid BFA chest pieces out there.

Simple maintnance, database querry? This is important.

If you are trying to gear a leveler in BfA dungeons, you should be aware that helm, shoulder, and chest items listed in the loot table only drop for level 50+ characters now. There is no other non-azerite gear substituted for the pieces that have been removed. If you want a helm, chest, or shoulder, you will need to get alternate items for those slots in some other expansion.

Example: The loot listed on the loot table for the last boss in Atal’Dazar for guardian is a piece of azerite gear. Since azerite gear cannot drop for a character that does not yet have the Heart of Azeroth, nothing can drop for guardian off the last boss.

I managed to get a chest to drop an a 60 DH.
I didn’t get the chance to test my 40 druid. You’re telling me that even if i have the necklace, nothing will drop before level 50? Neck is 40, i did that just now.

EDIT: But yeah, you’re better off in Shadowland dungeons or something else.

When did you get the neck on that level 40? There was a short period of time after the end of BfA when all levelers entering the zone were able to get the neck. After some issues with level 10 twinks who ended up with ilvls of 45, they moved the quest to level 50. I guess if you keep farming those dungeons you will be able to determine whether that loot dropping is linked to player level or having the neck. If it was me, I’d get gear from other zones and go back if I was still curious.

I don’t know the details. I got the quest for it from the Ddwarf in KT qt 39. Magni wouldn’t give me the neck then. I came back at 40 and i was able to get it.

It’s important people know how to get those slots.
