title.
for whatever reason, since 11.0.x my friends list has been glitched/bugged out. character level friends exist, but BNet and anything above that no longer shows when friends list UI is open. its acting like i have no friends at all and my btag thats supposed to be shown in the blue space at the top of the window pane next to the status indicator doesnt show up either…
aside from this i keep getting the same two system messages alternating in my chat feed which are the following.
“you have been disconnected from Blizzard services.” & “You are now connected to Blizzard services.” they keep alternating. constantly.
Yup, it’s happening to a lot of people.
Basically Blizz messed up the patch. Now you are no longer staying connected to BNet, which is why your friends list looks empty.
When you get the “is connected” message, you should be able to see your friends.
Alternatively, if you use the launcher, your friends list should be on the right side of the screen.
It’s really weird when someone messages you, you can’t see who it is.
You can start a chat from the launcher so that you know who you are talking to - but that really requires having 2 monitors.
I’m hoping for a fix during maintenance, but I won’t hold my breath.
when the patch first hit, whenever id get whispered from people the chat tab would flutter pink, and show the speech bubble but wouldnt have the name of the person im chatting with, even for character level friends, non b nets…
made it confusing as hell who i was talking to cause the chat tab wasnt showing it.
