Elemental orbit is causing earth shield to cost 20% mana instead of 10% mana when cast on the shaman.
Still costs 10% mana if cast on someone else or w/o elemental orbit talent.
Presumably a bug. Pretty huge downside for elemental orbit if it’s intentional or doesn’t get fixed.
As awful as it sounds, I bet that’s intentional. I just feel like the standard would have been set at 10%. For it to get to 20%, someone would had to have purposefully changed it… right? Haha.
Idk nothing about no coding. But that makes sense to me.
And for the benefits of it being up on two people, I can see them justifying the increased mana cost.
However I don’t see it as an issue. I hadn’t even noticed haha
It’s a big issue for PvP.
And it still costs 10% to cast on someone else.
It just costs an additional 20% to cast it on yourself.

It better not be intentional. If it is, then earth shield needs to not be dispellable. Like lightning shield.
20% mana for a dispellable shield is insane and will ruin elemental orbit as a talent for PvP (which is where it would generally be used).

Also hunter HP frame disappear when he plays dead

I’m also experiencing this bug. Earth shield costs 2,000 mana when I apply it to myself. It costs 1,000 when I use it on other players.

For M+ at least, I’d be fine with Orbit doubling the spell cost if it also made it so casting Earth Shield on an ally automatically applied it to you, too. Save me the GCD when I need to reapply mid-pull.

Please fix this blizzard.
20% mana is too much unless earth shield is made undispellable.
Or at least tell us about it

LOL. Keep dreaming. Have they ever explained anything they have taken/implemented on shaman?
And when they do explain its like with GoW. It infringes on mage fantasy even though the countless other identical blink line abilities don’t.

I mean at least show in toolkit that earth shield will cost more mana with that talent so we stop using it
