In twilight highlands there is a quest “Dropping the Hammer”. I mount the gryphon and fly up into the sky and attack the cultists. I kill 12 of them like the quest says and it fly’s up to Servias Windterror. I kill him but now I’m just flying around in circles, the quest doesn’t end, there is NO WAY to dismount. Even if I abandon the quest I continue to fly in circles.
EDIT: No there isn’t any red arrow button to dismount either.
EDIT 2: And unless I can get this quest done I cannot move forward in the string of quests in this area.
I had the exact same problem. After killing Servias several times, hit escape and logged out (it takes 20 seconds). Logged straight back in and I was situated at Iain Firebeard. I still had the quest listed as “Ready for turn-in”. So I flew off and turned it in to Keegan Firebeard.
