[bug] chi burst passive not proccing

as title states

did a dungeon and it didnt proc a single time

anyone know if chi wave works?

EDIT: apparently the proc still requires you to press the button so it must be on your bars still in order to proc and work

chiwave shows that it is activating but I am not seeing the animation nor noticing any healing or damage coming off of it to be honest.

For WW, the Chi Burst proc lets you cast the Active skill.

No idea why Chi Burst is different for WW than Brew/MW.

It might not be proccing because you have the “old” chi burst on your bars. You might have to drag it onto your bars again from your spellbook/talent tree.

Sure is fun to need to get a somewhat rare proc. You get the privilege of standing there and casting a decently long cast, as melee, in a spec that already has issues with other channeled spells taking your life away.

Chi Burst actually does high damage now though.

Not sure if that was taken into account for the activation requirement (because it has a cooldown, it really shouldn’t have been–extend the cooldown and add a chi-based reset, would’ve been a better model).

You had to stand and cast it before, so what exactly are you whining about?

Try using the passive stomp instead, at least for now. It’s actually pretty good. Just make sure you’re facing the enemies when your fists end. It will proc evey time your fists end. The talent path is Jadefire fists + Path of Jade.

This is true, but it made for pretty specatcular looking moves. When the boss tank and add did a jump you could turn, fire the chi ball, then flying serpent, land on the pile and you had chi to start pounding them.
