After returning from a long hiatus, I thought I would fire up the old game once more. Figured I’d run a character through Legion, as I like that expac. However, it’s over as soon as it starts. Stage 7, find Tirion, is bugged.
All characters gather a cliff near Tirion, but never go near him. All NPCs raze the Legion camp, but then freeze soon after. The quest is unable to continue or progress in any way. I end up having to use a hearthstone to exit the battle map, as I’m literally trapped on a battlefield. They simply refuse to go find Tirion, who’s like 100 feet away.
I’m basically locked out of the Legion expac. What do?
Is there any workaround known?
At the top of the first hill after the first battle. They stop and RP there.
Then you get shelled going to the next meet up. Then the release of the captives and fight till they all retreat.
Then fight the fel Reaver…
Alliance goes left and Horde goes right … Fight.( I think you need both Alliance and Horde players…).
Alliance fight then Horde fight the Reaver.
Then RP and they put another bridge…
Horde goes up hill…
Just plan on not having any Addons or auto skips.
At that first stop and RP spot is where it’s hanging. There’s no RP happening, they all just huddle in a group and stand there quietly.
As far as I know I’m the only player in the battle. I’m on Horde side and there’s nobody else. Maybe that’s what’s throwing the cogs out of alignment.
As soon as I got off the boat…
Just started killing stuff…
They say to take out the things hanging off the round things. Then the big one comes and we kill that…
Then up the hill to the top… RP.
Ya you might need to wait for a Alliance player.
This is the conclusion a lot of victims of this poor design have arrived at: you need at least one player on each faction doing their respective quest chains at the same time. Which is an absurd assumption now.
