BUG: ALL Damage DECREASED in WSG by 20-25%

WSG Stealth Aura: Mystery Damage Reduction? :thinking:

Data I gathered on Nature, Physical, and Fire damage DECREASE: remove the space (imgur .com/a/HFAHB10). I’m betting other damage types are in on this too. (had to edit in a space in the link, dont worry its safe…)

I’ve noticed this weird thing in Warsong Gulch (WSG). There seems to be a 20-25% damage reduction aura going on. And nope, it’s not the helm; Since talking with the peons that’s the common response.

I’m not sure if this is a secret feature or just a bug. Can we get a GM to elaborate?

Turns out, I’m not alone in this. Others are scratching their heads too. Any thoughts on this? Feedback-- anything would be cool!

it is UNREAL that they are adding resilience to vanilla wow. they NEVER learn. please remove this NOW Blizzard

NOPE. Dont like this. Stop seperating instanced and wpvp, this is supposed to be classic not retail!!

Sounds like a reasonable response to the increased damage from runes to balance damage between pve and pvp

  1. I hate this.
  2. I hate that it is invisible.
  3. I hate that there was no blue post talking about this.
  4. It feels like retail and that makes me hate it more.
  5. There appears to be no nerf to healing, which is a laughable oversight.

Yah crazy how this “feature” is not mentioned anywhere and no blue post addressing it.

Guess most ppl don’t even notice they are doing less damage? Lol

I just figured everyone was getting better gear. But you guys are right. This was a nerf. Hmm

Many noticed at Launch that Lava burst was doing less damage in BG’s and some people attributed it to resistances (probably those paid actors that work here on the forums to manipulate the masses) and it stopped but seems people were right.

Tbh blizzard devs prob slow on the keys and need that 25% buffer to press their divine shield in time

Interesting I did noticed I could kill priests in the open world but in WSG they were just battle tanks.

Really noticed it with hunters too, normal I can burst them down but in WSG I sapped a bloody priest and somehow a hunter managed to live through it - hunters are like a dps check vs the pet and when I run outta resources they get dramatically harder to kill if they don’t die off the bat.

Yeah, I can’t deal with a priest whatsoever.

Seriously it’s an effect that scales across the entire bg and it’s probably very necessary or else everyone would be getting 1 shotted. Calm down sheesh

Why not just balance numbers…?
