Quest: A Tempered Blade.
Zone: Mezzamere.
Character: Awesomelee.
time: 11 am AEST.
trying to hand in the quest, but the quest giver isn’t present after returning to Mezzamere, I have logged off a few times in hopes that it would be fixed, abandoned the quest and restarted it with the hopes that it would work, to no avail, I teleported to Boralus and then used the portal to Mezzamere and it still didn’t work.
A lot of people including myself from my realm and the ones in our crz is having this issue. I have even unclicked the biuff of him following and dismounting and re mounting (plus what the op has stated) and nothing works.
edit: turning warmode on works. Though I would still like the quest to be fixed.
He is present for me and still cant turn it in. If he is still following you try right clicking his buff off of you but it didnt work for me.
Also stuck myself. Hard to do much else when I can’t get it to recognize I have returned to the location and even trying to talk to him, it is only to continue the mission and get him, but never getting him to accept I have returned to the Mezzamere.
The same, I did the quest twice and nothing, relogged, zoned out etc… nothing seems to work…
Same on Drenden-Arathor. No one can turn in the quest.
Same on Khadgar/Alleria. No one to turn in to.
I am having a similar issue. The quest objective is to return to Mezzamere. I am standing in Mezzamere, Inowari is standing at his spawn location with a silver ? over his head, and I can not turn in the quest because the objective of returning to Mezzamere is somehow not complete despite me being there.

Same problem here. People in General chat are saying to go to SW and turn on warmode then come back and you can turn it in. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m about to!

I was able to fix this. Switch to War Mode, come back and he should appear.

So this is how they are going to trick people into using warmode XD
went to SW and swapped to WM and it worked.

Confirmed - Worked for me as well… Which is annoying.
I found a way to do it, I turned on WarMode turned in the quest.
