Multiple action bars migrate to upper left quadrant. Entering edit mode does fix it but is incredibly annoying. Did everything including complete uninstall/reinstall of game. No help.

I also have this issue. The script posted above in the thread helped but I still get the overlap problem occasionally in combat.
I will chime in that this is happening to me too. It is so incredibly annoying. Also, two days ago, coming out of a pet battle at darkmoon faire, it deleted all the buttons on my bars, (not the key binds, they were just now empty with the key bind showing in the corner and I had to reassign all my abilities. The most recent time, it was bar 2 and 3 that “went away”

Same issue but with action bar 8. I am glad I am not the only one having this stupid issue.

Not sure if this will work for anyone else but I accidentally fixed that same issue with mine that has been plaguing me and my alts since the anniversary patch. Hopefully it might fix it for some of you. I still expect to see it messed up everytime i log in a character but so far its held. Not exactly sure why but ill take it lol.
I had that issue for weeks. Yesterday it finally resolved. Not sure if it was because I downloaded a mod called hekili or because after I downloaded the mod I pulled my action bar one lower and each of the corresponding action bars after the first one so i could see the addon icons. So Try within your preferred ui save to move the action bar 1 lower and then re line up the rest and save. I wouldn’t have thought that would fix mine as id given up trying but it did work for me after that.
I think it might be the mod? I tend to go very VERY light on mods, only having DBM and one or two others. This problem has persisted, and continues to persist, for me.
This just started happening for me today. Only thing I did differently than usual was a pet battle. May have started after that.
Quick update. I ran the repair option and it did download something. Not sure if that helped yet, or not.
No luck. Still happens. Definitely the sixth action bar.
