Monday 11/25 I transferred 14818 badges from my alt Liliana-Wyrmrest Accord to Griannee-Area 52. During the process none of these badges were moved between the characters.
I had contacted a GM through a ticket that was submitted and they instructed me to submit a bug ticket reporting this issue. I haven’t noticed any other losses in transfers, but this would have happened around 9 PM CST that evening.
Yep just happened to me. This is completely unacceptable. I lost over 4 years worth of badges and “lol submit a bug report idk idc” is not acceptable.
Will they reimburse you or are the badges lost forever?
I’ve learned, since launch, that whatever you lose in game is not their problem, sucks to be you now I’m gonna ghost you.
ie, wiped guild banks. Among other things.
So they tell you to get lost and sucks to be you? And do not rectify the issue? That does not sound like quality customer service. Customer service should be able to restore vanished items that go poof from a glitch.
I was told to submit a ticket regarding the bug with the Warband transfer. The GM said they were unable to return the lost currency. I’m hoping with continued reports of issues with lost currency from Warbands, we may see these returned. Though I am not hopeful with all the reports I have seen before my post and afterwards and no update on bug fixes or anything.
I wouldn’t transfer large amounts of anything right now… they havent fixed a single bug since launch people are losing years of work and customer support is a joke… it sucks but this is what we pay for now its only gonna get worse why fix problems when u can just throw out 90$ mounts
Customer support is a joke they don’t solve anything and always solve the problem by telling you to put in a bug report that is never looked at because business is booming making promotions that nobody asked for
im missing 350 honor levels, they told me they know its a bug that happened to alot of people and that they cant do anything about it, customer support is f tier.
literally just went to look you up on armory and says you got the 500 honor lvl achievement LAST YEAR and in bumped you all the way down to 372 that’s crazy

Honestly if you transfer a “large” amount of anything thru Warbands transfer you are gambling at your own risk
If it’s anything that took years to grind (…such as 14k+ TW badges), you are taking a huuuuuge risk that the game “swallows it” since they apparently are dragging their feet/being slow on fixing data loss bugs this expansion
The pessimist in me thinks the OP will never see those TW badges again, judging by how the guild bank’s bug was handled (victims basically told “oopsie! sorry, sucks to be you” with no restoration)
yeah that’s how I do it. I only transfer what I need - bit by bit. I’ll be less angry to have lost 200 currency than 2000 or 20k.
Did you try putting the characters from another realm into the group of 4 warband slots along with the character that wants the item?
This hasn’t been an issue. I have a rather large amount of alts, leveled a bunch during Remix. I had transferred currency multiples without issues among my large pool of characters. After consolidating them like I had been, this one instance they didn’t transfer correctly. I have since I lost the 14,818 Timewalking badges have almost regained the amount I had lost. Just by playing my main and leveling some of my alts that haven’t hit max level yet. It doesn’t make the loss any less miserable though. I was hoping to knock out a bunch of things off the vendor after farming them up.
I have since the loss been more careful, verifying things transfer over. It’s still an issue that wen transferring over it appears to bug and not transfer the amount the first time, though I’m experiencing no lag. It’s as if the code used is having issues pulling the currency and transferring. This isn’t limited to even one alt, this has happened a lot more frequently recently and I don’t see any changes, it’s not limited to Timewalking Badges. While I hope that 11.0.7 has some fixes next week, with the large amount of issues and reports we are seeing. I believe luck isn’t on our side.
I am now seeing more reports though, and it’s not a good look on things to see currency, Honor Levels, hard earned instances disappear because of these bugs. Plenty of us have played 10, 15 20 or more years building up our characters just for a bug to wipe it out.
