No cooldown. Still has a GCD. That would make the only limit to the damage your ability to mash the button as many times as you can in 3 seconds, which I’m sure we agree isn’t healthy

I couldn’t remember if the tier set got rid of the gcd for it or not. Whatever it was like in legion I’m fine with here haha. That was one of the only fun things I remember from legion lol. Blasting ppl with machine gun void bolts was amazing.
Same, I just made it last week and was having a blast with it in Mythic+.

They need to limit the amount of damage SW:P can do to the priest before I consider taking this. Same thing happens in Torghast and the ability is bugged and doesn’t consider the additional damage as a killing blow.
Also a buff to vampiric embrace to like 60% of any single target damage to 5 party members would give spriest a a real reason to come to a high mythic key

Needs to go back to being a smart heal too tbh.

The smart heal part is the biggest part to me, even if it was just a smart heal it would be a huge buff - because right now like ~80% of the healing is often wasted.
A smart heal on a shorter cooldown, off the GCD, would give us a reason to watch group health bars and react with emergency heals. That’s the fantasy of Vampiric Embrace for me, and the current version is nothing at all like the fantasy.
Not to mention the ~certainty of abuse with fancy keyboards that can send 1000 keypresses a second - funny though that would be
