Buffs and nerfs I'd like to see

Big nerfs: ret, all 3 hunter specs, vw disc, destruction warlock

Minor nerfs: unholy dk, moonkin, rsham, spriest

Big buffs: ele sham, frost mage

Minor buffs: rdruid, mw monk, hpal, enhance sham, arms warrior, ww monk

:open_mouth:

Didn’t really think this through, just first things that came to mind.

I think, with the exception of frost mage and maybe UDK, your “big buff” specs are better than “minor nerf” specs.

Agreed, but also if hunter gets nerfed then fire mage will just take over.

honestly probably fair for these as well.

maybe lol, also just based on personal experiences in shuffle, for 3s the whole list is probably off

Feral needs survivability tbh. The damage is fine. Ele shaman though? Just want to understand your reasoning and what would you do to buff them?

I think the main problem with frost is that fire is better. Yes the damage is less than last season but frost having the mobility and cc is does with two ice blocks makes it the absolute worst time to play the game when its damage is buffed. A good frost mage will never let you touch them. Frost has gotten a little out of hands in my opinion. The purge needs to happen without destroying the class identity. As of now, frost can be the annoying factor in the arena just locking up the whole team but provides far less kill potential. I think the damage needs to be buffed but there needs to be a weakness to the spec.

idk, I legit never see them in shuffle regardless of which toon I play. I play an ele and of all the toons I play it felt the hardest to climb on (granted it’s one of my least experienced toons so I am quite horrible on it). When I do see eles and ferals it typically seems to be an easy win by training them into the dirt.

For frost mage, I’d mainly just be happy with a revert to the ffb nerf (the 13% one). I feel like that was overkill. Otherwise the spec feels fine.

Some specs out here sustaining 2 mil dps all game and bursting for 3-4+ mil while loling at magic damage or being unkillable all game, while frost mage out here needing stars to align to do half those numbers, even when taking into account that we are typically the one being trained. Also personally don’t enjoy the glacial spike build, but almost feels required to play it otherwise you’ll more or less just put out weak pad damage all game. I miss when ray of frost was good :frowning:

Like I mentioned though, not a lot of thought went into the list, just based off of personal shuffle experiences + first thing that came to mind.

Oh, and yeah agree on feral. For ele I don’t know exactly how I’d buff them tbh, maybe a little more mobility would be enough. Their damage seems pretty good and they are somewhat durable, just still feels like an easy train target for wins imo. Again, I am horrible at ele sham, but still felt kinda mid to play in shuffle.

Man, I see people call out destro locks a lot for nerfs. Try playing one and you will see how hard it is lol. Yea, they can turn the tides in a game but it takes 100% focus and effort. One mistake and it’s game over— for the most part. I think they’re in a good spot and don’t need any changes, though.

Nah it’s easier to just call for big nerfs and pretend that Destro doesn’t have counters at all.

Big buffs: demo
Big nerfs: ww

like everyone did with frost mage for the first 2/3 of the expansion lol?

Everyone thinks the spec(s) they play require(s) 5head skill, but in reality warlock, especially destruction warlock, is easier or not meaningfully harder than most other specs in the game.

Using short cd port, fear spam, and doing coil/stun into 2 shotting people with bolts isn’t the epitome of skill imo. Doesn’t really matter what your counters typically are when bolts are hitting this hard.

The only specs that are moderately hard to play efficiently imo are rogue (all 3 specs, with the easiest being assassination), druids (especially feral), shamans, and mages.

So yeah, not falling for the big warlock propaganda

Either casted spells hit hard or we need to start removing disrupts in the game…

You can’t neutered casted spells damage if you want to keep the amount of disrupts to casting in the game.

That’s what they’re doing

nerf everyone and megabuff me

thatll make everything fair i swear jajajaja

This is why nobody likes Arena players. You dont care about game balance. You care about making sure your spec is the best by a country mile and everyone else gets effortlessly mowed down by you like low level raid mobs.

Rsham isnt good enough in bg’s to warrant a nerf

Totemic needs buffed.

Then melees who are on you need to hit hard as well, otherwise you guys are having way too much fun! But that is currently not given, since War and WW are both in a bad spot.

LMAOOO LETS BUFF THE BEST MELEE IN THE GAME

When did I say Destro isn’t easy to play ?

Destruction has always been the easiest lock spec its just designed that way. I said this several times under different posts.

You generate shards you spend shards.

Having counters doesn’t mean that the spec is super hard to play. It’s just means that the spec isn’t running wild in PvP.
