Buff WOTLK heroics

The heroic dungeons in wrath were insultingly easy… for the time they originally out. It was an extremely common complaint from the time that the content was an absolute joke going from tbc heroics to wrath.

Heroic dungeons definitely do not need to be crazy difficult and require a ton of trial and error. They should just be retuned (enemies hit harder, maybe more health), and have a few mechanics that are actually punishing. Just enough that people have to actually be careful what/how much they pull, use cc, watch threat, and pay attention on the boss. Similar to the difficulty of tbc heroics pre nerf, which really aren’t difficult either, they just require a modicum of brain power to clear and are not a 100% snoozefest.

Same for heroic naxx. Leave in the snooze fest naxx normal or naxx 10 person mode. At the very least though, 25 person or heroic naxx could be much more engaging and not a glorified normal dungeon. Retune the encounters (hit harder more health), and import any planned SoM mechanical changes into wrath heroic naxx.

Save that crap for SoM / Classic+. Leave Wrath the way it originally was.

Nochanges has been dead from the outset in classic vanilla. Time for changes in wrath.

WoW was never meant to be a hardcore MMO game. It’s always been suited to casuals. That’s why it was popular.

If you want a hardcore experience try playing something that deletes your character when you die.

I presume you didn’t even read what I meant by buffing if you think what I was asking for was a mega hardcore mmo.

Nah

Nerf heroics so we can chat and be social make some friends, since thats the goal now…

You don’t want things “to be snooze easy”. Sorry to break it to you but that is what WoW is. It has never been difficult. I suggest playing another MMO if you want difficulty.

TBC heroics are also incredibly easy. They just require a modicum of brain power, like cc one mob, don’t pull too much, or pay attention for arcane explosion on the last boss. Wrath heroics are another level of easy where you can practically clear them afk, just a big aoe fest with no cc, none of even basic mechanics.

People complained at the time of wrath that the heroics were a joke. Nowhere did I ask for them to be hard, just not a 100% joke.

You mean like how imp blizz and seed work in TBC heroics now? There are still mechanics you have to pay attention to. Wrath just has more classes that can cover more bases, rather than just having mages be the default ez mode heroic. WoW has always been a casual MMO. This is classic, not a new expansion. I suggest asking for increased difficulty in the new expansion or trying out another MMO.

Buffing bosses, yes!
Buffing trash, not so much.

Then go play another MMO that is harder and quit trying to change an already established game to suit your own wants and desires.

Players want Wrath Classic just as original Wrath was back in the day… If you do not, then do not play it and find another…

Do you mean 25 players Naxx? there was no “Herioc” for Naxx.

Its got to be… I remember Lemon posting the same nonsense last month.

TBH, that’s all you needed to say.

Most of the time before the nerf, it isn’t smart to pull a large enough pack of mobs where aoe is even useful. Because the enemies hit hard and the tank has to be careful. And pulling threat is a huge danger. You need to actually use cc, which also means no aoe every pull since that will break cc. Shattered halls is the one exception where it can be cheesed with the perfect comp.

Wrath has mechanics but they have zero real punishment and you can just blast through.

TBC is also casual, heroics aren’t hard, they just aren’t boring like wrath because they require you to pay attention and do basic things to avoid dying.

You are inserting false statements in my mouth, since I never asked for a hardcore experience, only the bare minimum difficulty similar to tbc heroics.

Heroic Naxxramas is 25man.
Normal Naxxramas is 10 man.

That is how it was until ToC got out.

Why don’t you wait and actually play them at launch and not rely on a skewed version of memory from a 1 year drought with full epics.

I realize that, but we don’t know which version of systems we are getting on launch, hence the and/or’s
