Buff utility needs to come back

Hello,

Some classes and specs don’t get their fair share of consideration in the current modern iteration of WoW, where the metagame is dictated by group utility. Most old buffs need to come back to the classes and/or specs who provided them. For example, it has come to my attention that not a single mage got a World First Sarkareth for this season. It’s baffling.

Some buffs like Mark of the Wild have come back, so there’s still hope. These are a few:

  1. Blessing of Kings: +5% int/agi/str/stam

  2. Blessing of Might: + X mana every 5 seconds, 20% melee attack power, 10% ranged attack power

  3. Fire Mage/Ele Shaman/Hunter: 5% crit chance buff

  4. Shaman/Shadow Priest: 5% haste buff

  5. Paladins/Shaman: ~~500 str/agi buff totem

Arcane Mage specific: Focus Magic (increase the target’s chance to crit by 3%. When that target crits, your chance to crit is increased by 3% for 10 seconds.

Overall, there’s a handful of talents/racials that have party buff potential, like priest’s Sanguine Teachings buffing extra leech, or Evoker’s racial buffing everyone’s mastery.

As it stands, there are no incentives to playing a warrior or a hunter besides class fantasy, when their utility is negligible and can be skipped by stacking a different class.
