The nerfs a few weeks ago were too heavy handed. Unholy is so trash that us dks are queing blood out of desperation. Plz help

I don’t understand why Blizzard gives heavy handed nerfs to DKs while other classes get 5% nerfs at a time on 1-2 abilities.
Whoever is balancing this game needs to step down and let someone else do the job.

what was really interesting this season is that unholy received thoughtful tuning for the first 3 weeks of the season.
first was targeting proc ams which was op in bgs. then there was a nerf for the random pet chains of ice.
then doomburst nerf, making it not burst as much(apply less MS + festermight, and not do a 90% slow) - this is actually huge and one of the biggest reasons unholy doesn’t have a lot of kill pressure right now.
but if they left it as is, unholy would be a solid A tier spec as they were already getting overshadowed by ferals, mages, and hunter.
but then seemingly out of nowhere, they nerf death coil by 15%, and diseases by 15% - making it the biggest nerf a spec has received this entire season.
for a spec that wasn’t anywhere near as meta defining as feral or hunter were then.
i knew the spec was dead the moment they announced those changes and i stopped queing. And now, everyone,except for the devs, sees that both dps dk specs are the 2 worst specs in the game right now(maybe ww ties)
it really seems like the person who made the early season changes and the one that made the 15% nerfs are completely different people.
and whats funny is that warriors also got nerfed to irrelevance, but they got all their dmg back while dk was just left to sit there in D tier

Yeah, I remember the knee jerk reaction nerf.
Everyone was claiming that DK will go from S to A, when this same damage nerf in DF make DKs go from S to C.
I don’t know why Blizzard is continuously nerfing DK damage, the class is nothing without pressure. DKs just get ran over without the damage.
