While it’s true that there are more 10-man raiding guilds than 25-man raiding guilds, the higher number of 7/7H kills in 10-man does indeed suggest that 10-man content is easier to complete than 25-man content. Here’s why:
1. Proportion of Kills:
The fact that more 10-man guilds have completed 7/7H indicates that the difficulty level in 10-man raids is generally lower. If the difficulty were comparable, we would expect a more balanced proportion of kills between the two raid sizes.
2. Coordination and Management:
Coordinating 25 players is inherently more challenging than coordinating 10 players. This additional complexity can make 25-man raids more difficult to execute successfully, contributing to the lower number of 7/7H kills in 25-man raids.
3. Margin for Error:
The increased number of mechanics and the need for flawless coordination in 25-man raids make them more challenging overall.
**4. Tuning
The encounters are tuned to be less punishing in 10man due to the smaller group size.
The greater number of 7/7H kills in 10-man raids correlates with the relative ease of these encounters compared to 25-man raids. This suggests that 10-man raids are more accessible and easier to complete, which is reflected in the higher completion rates.
In order to say this you have to know how many guilds have attempted Firelands and the percentage of them that have completed it.
Being able to have every synergy buff in the game in a 25 man with every raid CD in the game is such a massive boost over 10 man that any increased difficulty from having to manage more people is offset significantly.
This is false across the board. Take Sinestra for example. On 10 man a healer got the orb every single time, this leaves only 1 healer to heal tanks and dps while the other runs and kites the orb. In 25 man you would have 2-3 healers still able to heal. This isnt even mentioning the fact that you have 60% dps ratio in 10 mans and 72% dps ratio in standard 25’s. This means you can lose more dps and still meet dps checks in 25 man vs 10 man. In 10 man if 2 people die its almost always a wipe. In 25 man it usually takes 3-4.
I have no idea where you are pulling this from. 10 man Tuning is on par with 25 man. There are fights where 10 man is significantly harder than 25 and vice versa.
This is a false equivalence. There are more 10 man raids because it is more accessible than 25 mans…thats it.
This is wrong, not even sure why you would even say this. If there were the same amount of kills for 10 man and 25 man, that would mean that H Rag on 10 man was extremely harder due to the simple fact that there are alot more 10 man raids than 25 man.
There have been 793 rag 25 man kills vs 1963 10 man rag kills. Whats 793 x 2.5. Its almost like they mirror each other and are separated only by accessibility.
I get it, you raid 25 mans and you want it to be more “exclusive” and “harder”…but its just not.
Perhaps you should refrain from hiding behind a level 40 character. It is difficult to prove that you cleared the content when posting on a level 40 SoD character.
I’ve posted on main a bunch, but you can look at my logs here https://classic.warcraftlogs.com/character/us/pagle/volhance
10m is way harder because you have to have the meta comp or you just can’t do certain fights.
It appears you commenting on a topic without having accurate information, relying instead on what others have conveyed to you. Yes, I participate in GDKPs, but I also engage in regular guild raids where I have done progression. But you seem to prefer listening to what the trolls are saying. Instead of actually getting the full picture. I do GDKP runs on my alts and Prog runs on my mains.
You didn’t full clear till you bought your way in. You clearly haven’t done 10m and are just making things up, every time you speak without chatgpt you are 100% wrong, at least chatgpt is right every once in a while
I generally dont listen to people with green parses on how difficult anything is tbh. I dont like bringing parses into this but you cant be a sub average player claiming something is harder than something else.
