Please consider reducing its cooldown from 3 minutes to 1.5 to 2 minutes at the very least.
It’s a decent racial ability, but I find myself hardly remembering to use it since it’s on cooldown so frequently.
There’s other much more powerful abilities in the game that do similar things with shorter cooldowns. For instance, Goblin’s Rocket Jump racial is only a 1 minute 30 seconds cooldown, and that ability immediately moves your character unlike Spatial Rift which you have to fire off, then wait to teleport.
And don’t even get me started on how powerful Shadowmeld is, and that’s only a 2 minute cooldown.

No, we can’t buff Spatial Rift, think of the balance implications. The very soul of azeroth may be torn asunder if we buff Spatial Rift. It should probably be made a 1 hour cooldown and reduce the distance to 5 yards

I’d take it lasting longer then what feels like 3 sec once its fully traveled, with a bit more range so you can move around a little more.

I never use it. I’d rather we’d had Void Rifts as a racial, letting you to go a number of places with void activity, but Dark Irons got that with Mole Machines for some reason.
Spacial rift is already pretty goated if you’re a caster in pvp. Nobody notices that thing creeping across the floor.
A melee starts bearing down on you, toss it out, start running the other way, then poof
The only change i’d make is have it last a couple more seconds once it reaches its destination.

Shadowmeld is goated for literally every class in the game in PvP. Rogue gets another Vanish, Druids get Vanish in general, you can use it like a pseudo-interrupt, and you can dodge CC. So, to that I say, objection relevance? Lmao.
Spatial rift is also useful for melee as it still lets you teleport while rooted. You just need to be clever when using that skill.
