Buff scrap drops in naxx

Asking that trash drops more scraps please can’t meet cloth demands and at 40 gold plus a piece its expensive for a single tier piece our guild trying our best to do people’s 2 tiers bonus over people who won 1 tiers but we’re out of scrap and we have 7 people with tier tokens waiting on cloth scrap and we full cleared all trash both lockouts, why is this a thing lol they make stuff so annoyingly bad to grind like we have a bunch of DPS that doesn’t have 3 set sanct pre naxx gear because they can’t get the chest to drop why hasn’t that been made into necrotic runes yet

Farm those daily reels and get em from the crates

an alternative but not a good one you dont get one every crate and you dont choose what kind? after 1.5 runs my guild has run out cloth scraps so we have people unable to make T3.

so buffing the drop rate would help early and make them cheap and trivial for alts later in the phase.

My priest bought 6 of those crates today after stocking up some reals in the last few days. Four of them gave plate scraps that are pretty wothless on horde side, one gave a couple leather, one gave one chain scrap lol. 0 cloth scraps. Not my day :sob:

There are crates for 10 reals each that have scraps in them. Just farm some dungeons and old raids and this will solve your issue in no time. Just play the game.

Turn up the difficulty.

We’re doing a hard mode each week but we started 2 skipped 1 and only got like 63 scrap from trash of cloth which I was able to help 2 people get there 2 sets and 1 other get a piece before we ran out they just need to buff how much scrap drops or my guild needs to farm trash but no one wants to really farm trash

While I would agree with this, the amount you can get is anywhere between 0-3 scraps not of your choice, if it gave you YOUR armor type I would agree, but the supply literally can’t match the demand as it stands, so people are playing the AH and making them far too expensive for most players.

We have 6 6sets and almost everyone has 2pc or more. We’ve did hm2 week1 and hm3 last week. Going for hm 4 next. We haven’t needed to buy scraps and are 1 splinter off atiesh. If ur not getting enough scraps then either u need to do higher difficulties or crack down on ur raiders not sending scraps from the boxes u get from reals from old raids to ur gbank

Oh so you have guildies giving yourselves scrap not from naxx kk :index_pointing_at_the_viewer::joy:

Most guilds give each other scraps. That’s the purpose of a guild bank. I’m sorry ur not in a guild that works as a team.

Oh we have enough scraps now we work together but again it’s dumb that naxx doesn’t give enough scrap to cover it’s tier on its own and it doesn’t seem more scrap drops harder the mode

Would be nice for buffed rates. We get roughly 200 assorted scraps per raid. thats 2 full tier sets Meaning it would take 10 weeks to get enough for a full team.

From what I can see as my guilds Master Looter chain droprates were cut for alliance and plate were buffed up abit (due to shaman/paladin I’m assuming) which is good imo.

One solution is to have the raid team all do a week of Real turnins. 20 people turning in 150 per day should get you all the scraps you need. (though this would require 2-4 hours everyday which is abit sweaty imo)

lol. Honestly, 15 boxes per raider per week, not per day, would easily tip the scales over.

I agree with you on the boxes. I spent 150 reals on boxes and the scraps I received were pathetic, and the only otherwise moneymaker from the whole batch was 2 Essence of Air. I have found that farming with my professions and buying off the auction house is more lucrative per hour than farming reals through dungeons. I definitely run BWL/MC/ZG every reset tho, and what else is there to spend reals on?

My fear, though, is that they are finally going to acquiesce and put items I DO want in the reals vendor and I won’t have them anymore

Farm Curios and save them then. They stack to 99 and can contain 3-5 reals each, letting you massively exceed the Reals cap.

Depends on your class. I’m not sure how they programmed the boxes, but I agree with you ideally cloth should drop the most since 3 classes use it. All the other armor types use 2. So there should be more cloth than the other types. If you’re horde plate is going to be cheap and if you’re alliance mail will be cheap. It just is what it is there.

If this isn’t the representation of what’s in the crates, then I don’t disagree with you that cloth drop rate should be increased to 150% vs the other 3 types.

The prices should drop as less and less people need them, but if you want 6pc early, you gotta pay the iron price.

Looking at AH prices yesterday I can pretty much guarantee that drop chances are equal in boxes and Naxx. On horde, just as you state, plate=cheapest ( around 3g ), Mail = 5g, leather = 8g, cloth=… 28g! It does look like cloth drop rates should be buffed.

Note that some guildies were talking about neutral AH having cheaper scraps than the faction AH, I assume due to proximity to the vendor. So it may be worth checking there if prices are too high.

Cloth is super high because lots of guilds are mage/lock/spriest stack atm

That’s true, maybe the drop rate is right, but class imbalance is what is driving up prices. I didn’t think about that because my guild is Hunter/Druid/Shammy heavy.
