Give ret something so they don’t get kited for all eternity other than a goofy 45min CD horse LOL I mean DH has 2 or 3 dashes warrior has charge and heroic leap , DK has deathgrip and chains of ice , monk has 2 rolls and a flying serpents kick, Rogue has shadowstep i mean for gods sake give ret something

I heard this about dh and meta before too. In theory, works well, in practice not as much unless ur a really high control comp which not everyone is.
Also isnt the trait for mini wings just as strong thus giving good damage in sporadic intances.
And to ne fair only being good in wings doesnt mean it should crit for 60-70k in that time. I think moving damage out of wings window and into normal rotation would be better for the spec making uptime out of wings more valuable than it is now and having more consitant pressure.

if you want Ret to have a snare, then they need some of their utility taken away. They’re a literal Hybrid spec that can BoP and heal their team mates, on top of what ever else they’re capable of that I don’t care about AND doing insane damage.
Ret is fine
They are insanely good into cleaves
It’s just that RMX being almost every game keeps them down since they are bad into mage teams
Change divine shield into a 90% damage taken reduction, change cd to 3min and then people will stop qq about ret so they can have new tools.
But overall they should just redesign ret to stop being so reliant on wings to even land kill. Nerf wings damage and buff all damage to compensate. Wings could just be a 20% haste and holy power generators generate 3 holy power for 15sec on a 1.5min cd
So wings only become a faster beatdown instead of being all your damage.

Youre a mage man spellsteal it if a ret os dumb enough to use it with you around…of course this is me assuming you pvp on the mage
Rets used to be insanely good into cleaves but not anymore in bfa and they do good into RMX, just not into spellcleaves.
Rets are fine theyre not bad or near enh level but the class is just gross when the only damage they do is mashing templar with wings up and theyre defensives are awful.

Ive seen rets do some serious offhealing. Ret is in a good spot, but again, like most of us, are outshined by the meta. Most of us are in that boat.
