Pets die to literal cleave damage without ever being targeted despite pet heal spam. Healers can’t target them most of the time due to buggy UI.
Pet rez is way too long and needs to be reverted.

Hunter pets need a complete rework
they are still scaled to SL it seems, the way any class can solo it with 1-2 spells or just simple cleave for around 4 sec, but who cares its just hunter, the weakest class in the game since the very beginning
They need values and abilities very much like they were before their personality nerfs post-MoP as well as additions of pet trees and perhaps variants of the families, especially with north of 40 different colors and 5+ types altogether.
I wouldn’t say that with how even now we’re still often the best of what we do, which is at least generally soloing content and speedrunning content.
i’m content with them fixing the literal issue at hand without asking them to bring back trees etc which will require more work…since the bare minimum is hard enough to get.
I don’t miss the pet talent trees but, I do miss my pet not being meleed to death in 3 attacks. Id like it if they made them have pre SL survivability atleast.
Oh and buff spirit mend back to what it was originally, so you know its worth using a spirit beast.
All pets need a rework, especially demo and unholy. The fact they can make cleave abilities like salvo, sweeping strikes, unhinged, splitting ice, etc useless, make it impossible to trap anything, clutter half of your screen even with add-ons to make them as least obnoxious as possible and reduce the damage of capped AoE because of how many of them there are…
Yeah, I’d love if we could just go back to having only 1 pet. Class fantasy be damned.
