Buff Kyrian Command Table

Holy crap I just ran with a level 25 Sika, 31 pelagos, 30 kleia, 30 kythekios, and a 30 phalanx unit inbetween my melee (to give them tank passive).

put them on a level 20 elite soul ash mission and they still all died.

There is literally no combination of my strongest units, 10 levels over the mission level, that can pass. This is ridiculous. Buff Kyrian command table and compensate Kyrians for the 300+ soul ash we have lost out on due to poorly tunes units.

We need Athanos <Overtuned Sparring Assistant>.

Yeah, the command table is absurdly badly tuned. Why does Telethakas have 1/3 the HP of any other unit, along with a 51-point heal on a 3-turn cooldown? Who even eyeballed those numbers and thought they made sense?

It’s not a passive, and it doesn’t affect melee units. It’s a buff with a cooldown, which applies to the Phalanx himself and the two guys in ranged slots.

Conversely I somehow managed it on Venthyr with somewhat similar numbers.

Balance is pretty terrible. Some healers like the NF overgrown moth are so OP they can carry anything, and some DPS are like grey parsers.

It’s almost like a meta commentary on the balance.

whats worse is there is not a single iota of a word from blizz.

Are they aware of this? Did they even play it? Do they plan on fixing it? Are kyrians just gonna get 100 less soul ash a week until our followers are max level?
What about max level? If my followers are level 60, and my missions are level 60, does that mean that I just wont be able to complete soul ash missions later?

Does blizzard care? Do they intend to fix? WHO KNOWS?!

Like a previous poster said: Who eyeballed these numbers and thought they were balanced/ok?

I want to assume none of the numbers are scaling properly

But this is blizzard, so… yea…

I am completing kyrian 30 soul ash mission so I don’t think they need a buff.

What I do think is that there needs to be less RNG, you don’t really know what troops do and what comps are good… there is no way of knowing.

I think I just got lucky and formed a good team since the beginning out of pure luck of the draw.

Similar situation with troop levels, but I didn’t run the mission because I’d already failed 2 soul ash missions since this all started. If you look @ the  and damage numbers of the foe and compare yours, and there’s no way to offset the difference regardless of troop placement or grouping, just let the mission rot off the table instead of losing 100 anima and be left with dead/injured troops that have to heal using even more anima before you can send them back out.

He is too busy installing humility to work on a command table mission.

That’s what I thought, and generally think. But the numbers didn’t add up for me when I won my soul ash mission, but it was a comfortable W.

I think if you’ve outleveled the mission by enough the numbers may not actually represent reality.

Maybe so, but I’m sticking to my guns in this expansion with a “fool me once” mindset.

I would not use these 2 on this mission, because their damage is low. I’m leveling up Meatball, and will use Nemea in melee to give this mission a try.
