More semantics really. What do you define as “moderately” ?
If I’m doing equal or more damage than the next two in line combined, I’m going to consider it a DPS carry.
If DPS are dying and i’m solo’ing or out damaging them as a tank, I consider that a tank carry.
I can walk into a Heroic with my Bear Druid and mass pull the entire dungeon with no fear of mechanics or death or anything of the sort. They’d be unable to do that without me. I can carry in Heroics.
And as per my definitions of “carry”, it happens all the time.
The scaling is just fine. The issue lies with:
Ignoring what’s going on and not being able to reference it in future difficulties is not a “difficulty jump”. It’s ignorance. Standing in bad because I can and standing in bad now kills me isn’t a “difficulty” jump.
Incorrect. The gap between Normal and Heroic is larger than the gap between Heroic and M0. I’ve already laid out the numbers and scaling points in almost every one of these threads I’ve bothered with.
“feelings” don’t change that.
There’s the post to reference the numbers for “scaling” - nowhere are they out of whack.
Edit: as for “new mechanics” - the ones gained in mythic from heroic are nearly negligible. As in they don’t force you to play any different or really look out for anything different. It’s usually just more damage added on to something (such as little adds possibly giving an extra bleed on AA tree boss - that’s the only different mechanic added to Mythic from heroic)
