I just played 6 - 0 game in ss against a full melee comp, and there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it.

They should only get a defensive buff if their burst gets nerfed a bit, I understand it’s tough to get melee trained but you also instant cast 50k+ DPS constantly while getting trained while having some insane utility as evidenced by the AWC.

ele lava burst needs a nerf… you cant do 40k dps and still have 50 defensives.
nerf lava burst by 15% and give us earth ele wall back.

No they need to nerf your proc chance like they did with SP and make you actually have to cast again, I can’t even count Ele as a caster because the entire kit is instant damage.
A proc chance nerf + lava burst nerf + 2 set Earth Shock nerf will bring it more in line and having defensives buffed then makes sense.

buffs to everything and decreasing procs would be great… back when lava burst and lightning bolt actually hurt.
What made you roll an elemental shaman? Unless you joined the game in legion I don’t think ele has ever not been this way
Only if they nerf ele burst…buff sustain then they can do that.
Not unless they heavily nerf yalls damage. Ele does entirely too much instant damage to deserve being tanky too.
Melee gives you love, just maybe not the type of love you really want though

Also asking for ele buffs right now is kinda like getting away with murder, but instead of being happy with avoiding life in prison you decide to sue the city for even attempting to prosecute you.

I’m not sure that Elemental makes the list of specs in need of buffs.
I mean elemental has plenty of tools to wheen for how easy it is for them to get cleave damage off.
Watch the better ele sham play the game and they do a fine job creating space when they need to.
That being said you really shouldn’t be able to avoid that much damage on a spec that has access to the kind of damage elemental has right now.

Ele’s control kit is actually really good with static field, unleash, and infinite frost shock roots. Static and unleash both being incredibly strong bc unleash doesn’t break on damage and static is a zone denial mechanic that you can also damage into. Lasso is still a really good button. If you are standing in a place that makes it really easy for double melee to beat on you that doesn’t put them out of position, you’re going to have a bad time. You want to always be playing far enough back to where they have to overextend to get to you which also gives you more time to preempt their go with your control buttons.
ELE needs gust of wind with 2 charges
That was a dumb and bad nerf for shadow and it would be dumb and bad for ele as well. They can nerf some of the modifiers that make the casts do a lot of damage and earthshock as well. However they should not nerf what makes the spec fun to play.
