Ritual of Ruin gave you one free Chaos Bolt / RoF for every 10 soul shards. This gives you free RoFs

Ritual of Ruin that summons the overfiend is infinitely better than what we have now. Gating the Overfiend behind a choice of “bugged, undertuned passive dimensional rift” and soulfire is criminal. We lost uptime, we lost funnel damage, and now they wanna swap Inferno and Chaos Incarnate with the .5 patch? It’s depressing.

Being forced to play one spec (demonology) to be viable is very annoying. Destro definitely needs a buff. They could leave the talents alone and just buff our damage or something. Anything would help

Destruction is perfectly viable and even the better spec on a number of bosses in the raid.
I’ll play Destro do or die, I’m always last, buff it up plz, ty.
Destro is doing pretty good right now, but the bottom talents could use some work. I really don’t like soul fire either, and having the over fiend tied to it. would much rather have castable rift that is tuned well or CDF trigger him. Shadowburn feels good for once, and I love conflag spreading immolate.

I haven’t had a chance to play since pre-release a few week ago.
Logged in with my desto warlock and had a WTF moment.
It hits like a wet noodle for 75% and then occasionally it hits ok.
Not the same as it was pre launch. Not at all!
Focuses too much on AoE and single target is too sporadic in damage. Its painfully slow for some encounters to burn down a mob. I haven’t done a delve run yet, but I’m not looking forward to it.
Rotate spells to gain shards. Use shards and its under whelming.
I’m watching the damage bar on a equel lvl mob and chaos bolt 2 of 3 times barely moved the damage bar down. Conflag & incinerate damaage isn’t that far off from chaos bolt.
Prior to launch I thought Desto was in a good spot. You could have slightly different specs and still have it be effective and fun.
icey veins has Desto as a B tier now.
Why the change? Desto was good but by no means out of balance.
It was good before the huge wither nerf like what 50%??? The dots used to be strong now its just “okay.” Even then, it’s a juggling act tracking withers and in M+ dots never feel great, I get thats part of accepting your role as a lock but w/e I like it when my spells just work well and do what you’d expect.
And the demon spec hero talents don’t feel good either very passive yet random, less control
They shifted it into chaos bolt dmg with thru the felvine but thats only with RNG malevolence procs or by popping the CD. Doesn’t feel very good imo. I feel like a slave for havoc cleave and gimped when it ends.
Demo on the other hand JUST WORKS. You hit buttons and they do damage, there isn’t any brain power used lol
Affi, same problem as destro, too dot dependent and I think dot classes atm kinda SUCK in all forms of content ATM
