Buff armor in PvP

Armor is another reason why warriors and WW’s cut through plate gear like butter. Some warrior just hit my DK for 14k overpower > 6k dreadnaught, which is 20k dmg from a FILLER ability. Meanwhile deathcoil crits for 5k with legendary, and it’s a spender.

Even in full plate gear I have 30% dmg reduction against physical. Warlocks probably have more than that.

no bad

nerf ww and arms modifiers

raising armor to match those 2 specs insane modifiers would just make other physical damage specs miserable to play

Yes, please don’t make the game slower. Just slow down the busted specs.

Buff armor and nerf self healing from ALL SPECS that aren’t healers. I don’t want the game to be slower. I just think its terrible game design when physical does more dmg to full plate gear than magic does. If cloth had Strength stat on it I could wear that and barely notice a difference against physical dmg burst.

dumb

nerf off healing

i think you just don’t understand what you’re saying

that’s not true at all LMAO

you feel squishy as a paladin i guess
but i doubt youve played a dh or rogue if you feel this way

you’re seeing specifically two specs that stack 8 modifiers that basically quadruple their damage

as enhance, my windfury / stormstrikes hit plate about 40% as hard as they hit leather

i believe dreadnaught is treated as a spell that deals physical damage much like thunder clap, so i don’t know if armor actually resists its damage

On my arms warrior I eat through plate just as easily as cloth. Actually priests, warlocks, boomies are much more tankier to physical damage. If paladins didn’t have bubble I’d kill them in the first minute out of the gates.

K you’re not even worth responding to at this point. Just repeating what I say and call me wrong. Last time I’ll say it. If armor for mail/plate was buffed and self-healing for all specs that aren’t healers is nerfed the game would be even faster-paced. Do modifiers need nerf? Sure. But this isn’t a “nerf xxx” thread. Even rextroy made a video recently about how you lose armor the more geared you are. Stop derailing by going off-topic or you’ll be on the same list as amoranis

no i disagreed

i said off healing you said selfhealing
if you don’t know the difference you’re fried

your 217 arms warrior that has 0 rated games played this season that is likely hitting other 200 ilvl players in random content?

very valuable perspective thank you

i didn’t derail anything i just disagreed with you

if you cant handle that then send it idc you obviously just don’t understand the game and are frustrated

All healing from all specs that are not qued up as healer. < offtopic not about armor

Last time I played him was 10+ months ago. < offtopic not about armor

We didn’t even disagree on anything. I talked about armor being underwhelming and you brought up modifiers as reasoning, which is unrelated. You’re bored stirring stuff up. Again derailing thread by being offtopic. Hence useless to the thread and added to the list of amoranis

off topic? YOU brought it up LOL

oh so you actually have even less experience than i thought you did

why did you even mention your warrior then LOL
surely you can see how dumb that is in hindsight right?

what did i post that was off topic? YOU brought up off healing LOL
i responded to YOU talking about off healing

you specifically pointed out windwalker and arms warriors as your reasoning for wanting armor changes
which are 2 specs that specifically stack absurd modifiers which is the sole reason you see such absurd numbers through armor

that’s on topic and related
the fact that i have to even explain why you feel the way you feel just displays how unaware you are and how little you understand the game

To many RNG modifiers in game rn, game somewhat fast paced but not for the right reasons.

Def don’t play mistweaver my boy.

I’m like 258 and every single global from any melee above 250 literally removes 60% of my HP.

You don’t know squishy until you log MW.

I agree, also make armor block holy damage.

I have every class at max level so I’m checking each type of armor to compare. Keep in mind the item levels range from 230-245

DK with plate gear = 29% phys dmg reduction
Holy paladin with plate + shield = 37% phys dmg reduction
Restro shaman with mail + shield = 32% phys dmg reduction
Hunter with mail gear = 21% phys dmg reduction
DH with leather gear = 15.53% phys dmg reduction
Warlock with cloth gear + Demon Armor = 26% phys dmg reduction
Priest with cloth gear + Focused Will = 25% phys dmg reduction
Druid in boomkin form = 29% phys dmg reduction
Druid in bear form = 36% phys dmg reduction

So unless you’re wearing a shield, your armor doesn’t mean much. Those who suffer the most from armor are monks, rogues, and demon hunters. I guess this sheds some light on why rets and DKs still get destroyed by physical dmg. Plate gear means nothing anymore.
