The king of L takes has arrived on the thread, nice
Or check this out. 25-man could drop 5 items like it does in the future.
I dunno, I seem to get more likes on my takes than the 5 of you that troll the forums all day ![]()
All I see is you trolling on the forums chief
So you agree 25 man is more challenging, therefore it should have an extra incentive in the form of more rewards to compensate for the fact it is more challenging than 10 man due to its requirement of 25 man.
Lol everyone knows you sign into your army of alts and like your own posts
Just do 25 man with 10 ppl then
Can not agree with you any more. For sure 10M is more difficulty, we have to make sure everyone in the group must be do everywell, because no more people comes to help you finish your part. I will say 10m group worth get more gears, have to be 3 iteams, the last boss keep 3 iteams is ok.
No you don’t, I’m the most highly regarded and liked person on the forums.
The trade off is that 10 man is considerably easier than 25 man
They’re supposed to be roughly equal in this expansion. 25 is obviously harder to form and manage, though.
This exactly, we had 3 bosses this week that dropped no usable loot for our 10man. I also don’t see the problem in buffing drops across the board. This is an accelerated classic experience after all.
Its 6 items per boss on 25 man.
its 6 pieces per boss on heroic 25 man, in normal mode you still only get 5, the 6 pieces from normal doesn’t come until mop
Get use it, this week we got 10 trash gears. some item we never see it drop, some gear we see it everyweek.
The fact that OG cata heroic 10 mans were brutal yet still didn’t award as much as 25 throws any notion of difficulty being the reason 25 awards more out the window. There isn’t even a point in starting that debate in another thread when it honestly doesn’t matter; both difficulties got blitzed by people who had practiced / prepped BoEs beforehand anyways.
This season specifically is probably better off left alone as a source of data for future seasons going forward, but the shorter Firelands / Dragon Soul releases definitely needs a loot boost for 10m (and honestly, 25 as well). There won’t be enough time for people to finish gearing with how short these seasons will be.
players who ‘finish gearing’ quit.
why would that be a good business model?
Considering many who reach this point just shift to doing prep for the next phase (be it via gold from gdkps, alts, or just making sure they don’t lose their raid spot), we’re just gonna have to agree to disagree on this.
no, we will search for the consensus. Prep for next phase makes the next phase shorter, shifting the problem of “done with content” up.
my logic is undeniable.
How do you expect to reach a consensus if “your logic is undeniable”? At that point, you’re essentially saying “I’m right, you’re wrong, end of discussion”.
As far as the argument itself, if we really must, then I point to two things.
-Dragonflight raid rosters still running long after BIS is secured for sales / alts despite BIS being secured in an easier fashion
-This season of Cata being blitzed despite starting from blues / BoEs. If ground zero isn’t enough of a detterent to delay people from full clearing in 1-2 weeks, then making it feasible to never see an upgrade in certain slots due to rng for the sake of slowing down progression is folly.
