I’ve spent hours in, and out of game trying to sort out how to pick up a quest chain I dropped somewhere.
Most recently, I couldn’t figure out how to get the “Hooking Over” quest for Korthia after taking the skip option on an alt to get to the zone…
Wowhead was no help in picking up the path to this quest. A thread somewhere suggested the addon BTWquests. This made it easy, you can search for the quest name you need, then easily backtrack to where you need to pick up the chain again.
This really needs to be in the default user interface for WoW.

It absolutely should be.
Agreed.
Especially it will give me something to target for by listing out the questlines with it’s rewards and such. 
There are a lot of simple addons that blizz UI should have but instead of adding stuff every patch they break a few addons .

Don’t worry, if it gets popular enough, I’m sure it will be added to the default UI. Just like SCT, group finder, etc.
Any time I recommend other addons, I get reported, but the one time I recommend BtWQuests, everybody is on board, lol.

Well… no one said people were smart.
I don’t think it necessarily need be a core part of the game, but I definitely agree it bring a benefit to those that use it.
My reasoning is that it might be useful while getting a character up, but I for example use a different questing addon which works for me. However when I hit 60 (and say I don’t intend to have anymore character) I can completely remove it with it taking anymore resources.
