In the Heart of the Forest, after completing the current campaign quest, if you’ve done the quests to save the Night Elf souls in the Maw (the two quests that add named night elves to the heart of the forest), one of them (near the room that leads to marasmius) will have “Stay a While and Listen” option. In doing so, Tyrande walks up and they talk. It’s mostly just about how the Night Elves never lost hope in Tyrande and such.
If you talk to Tyrande after they’re done talking, she tells you she still has Elune’s power, and the way it’s phrased implies she still has the powers of the Night Warrior.
Since I hadn’t seen this mentioned anywhere, and non-Night Fae would miss it, figured I’d post a screengrab.

Blizzard probably wrote that in after seeing the reaction to Sylvanas surviving, lmao.
Tyranda gonna kill Sylvanas confirmed.

Woman has the power still and it won’t threaten her life at this point? Woman is OP.

She will have to choose how to use said power: Resurrect the Night Elves and Teldrassil or vent it all on killing Sylvanas who honestly at this point can be simply killed by having her throat slit without wasting Life Anima of Night.

Considering they siphoned some of it to the former Night Warriors I can buy that

That was on the ptr I believe. It seems we are just beginning to understand the elune mythos. The sister the winterqueen and her brother An’she who people think may be Zovaal. If they are the eyes of the earthmother just makes you think of what Azeroth is.

Actually it was leaked in the beta for 9.1 on WoWhead a while back.

Of course because Alliance needs another god tier member.

Like having this one actually did us a lick of good? All she did was basically fail at everything she did. Oh wait, she killed Nathanos and one of the valkyr.

It’s almost like seeking vengeance isn’t a very rewarding path

Be happy we got that. This was a redo. She flat out lost the first version.

I’d feel better if I didn’t have a nagging worry she was going to do a 180 by the next expansion and suddenly we’re back on the vengeance path again.
No, not really. The ritual they did drained some of her power to the point where she could use it without killing her.
Nope, there’s no non-forsaken/non-DK way to revive the night elves. Elune’s power also does not revive anyone. The dead night elves will forever live in Ardendweald and help out with anima and stuff.
What Elune meant by “renewal” is basically repopulating the night elf population by…well you know.

Maiev has been left to play for a good while now. I hope she has been busy personally.
She has issues. When she has no Illidan to chase she feels empty. Those orcs better open a portal to warhammer universe and borrow gork and mork. Only thing that will save them if she fixates on them lol.

So Tyrande is currently the most powerful mortal NPC in the game?
I mean even Turalyon and Alleria technically probably couldn’t clap Jailer empowered Sylvanas the way Tyrande did before Elune forced her to choose renewal.
I would love to be wrong about Alleria. If it turns out Alleria has just been holding back the entire time for the last 1000+ years for whatever reason and she’s an absolute demigod who knows how to harness void and light and can just destroy anyone she wants I think that would be hilarious and I would gladly follow her to the bitter end of this terribly written story.
But Tyrande? If she still has that power at her disposal without Elune interfering anymore… She absolutely clapped Sylvanas in that cutscene it was a one-sided fight. She even threw away her weapons once she knew she was on a completely different level. She is the chosen one.

I don’t think Warcraft has a well-enough defined and objective power scale for NPCs to judge. She’s as strong or as limited as the story at hand needs her to be.

Sounds like Tyrande is opting for renewal. That’s good.

Sylvanas one-shot Saurfang, one of the strongest warriors in WoW.
We have memes about Saurfang cleaving 10 men with a swing of his axe. They even made his axe model the hidden artifact appearance for arms warriors. He’s a legend. She clapped him without even trying.
Tyrande did to Sylvanas what she did to Saurfang.
If Tyrande does have the power of the night warrior at her disposal now, she would be at the very top of the power scale pyramid. Maybe old canon Malfurion could stand up to her but he’s been so weak in game and that was just written in a book we never saw Malfurion that strong in game.
Tyrande should be the most powerful mortal in the game now. Hands down. Sylvanas couldn’t even get a single attack on her she was just dodging and parrying the entire fight and Tyrande shrugged her off and was about to snap her neck with her bare hands before Elune forced her to choose renewal.
